This Mexican style Spa offers a total of 11 treatment rooms including 6 for massages and 3 for facials or massages, 1 Vichy Shower and 1 Soft Pack System or "German Bed" for body wraps. Beach / Pool, in-room and couple's services are also available. Guests are able to relax while enjoying the sauna, steam room, jacuzzi and hot and cold plunges; either before or after their treatments.
Desert Spa at Villa del Arco, at 31,000 square feet is the largest spa in Cabo San Lucas. Facilities include 17 individual treatment rooms and 2 couples treatment rooms with Jacuzzi and shower. The men's and women's hydrotherapy areas feature Jacuzzi, cold plunge pool, cold pressure shower, temperate pool, steam room and sauna.
My appointment was at 11:00 am, and at 10:55 there was a knock on my door. Two women were toting everything they would need to give me my massage. I had them set up on the terrace so I could listen to the waves and enjoy the breeze during my 60 minutes of bliss.
The therapist waited outside while I slipped under the sheets. For the next sixty minutes she found the knots that have been building up and worked them out. When she finished she packed up her supplies, and quietly left, leaving not a trace of what went on behind; except for one very satisfied customer.
Now, when I say they bring the spa to you, I am not exaggerating. They don’t just show up with a table. When I walked out to the terrace the table was up, with a rug under it that had flower petals scattered on it, candles, and a radio playing relaxing music.
