Luxury Villa Collections Reservation Terms, Rules / Regulations Rental Policy
Luxury Villa Collections is open and clear regarding our Terms, Rules and Rental Policy. The following conditions will be applied to every vacation rental provided.
An administration fee of 5% will be added for administrative and processing of each reservation cancelled under the terms of our cancellation policy.
Reservations can be made up to one (1) year in advance, however properties are not guaranteed. In the event that the reserved unit is no longer in our rental inventory, your reservation will be moved to a similar unit at the same rate. Properties are subject to change without notice. Rates and dates are not guaranteed until the signed rental contract is received by Luxury Villa Collection and a deposit of 50% has been received. The balance is due 30 days prior to arrival. The advance payment is not a damage deposit. The reservation agent reserves the right to correct errors in pricing and amenities until a signed contract is completed.
Reservations will not be made to students or singles under the age of twenty-five. Underage drinking and/or partying are not allowed in any of the rental units. Parents must accompany their children under the age of twenty-five at all times. Non-compliance of these rules and regulations will result in immediate eviction with no return of any funds paid. Please contact a representative with any questions regarding this policy. The person signing the contract must occupy the premise the entire length of the reservation.
If reservations for periods other than the weeks of the Christmas and New Years holidays are canceled at least sixty (60) days before the Check-In Time and Date, then all funds paid by Tenant, including the Advance Deposit, will be refunded.
Luxury Villa Collections does not issue refunds for cancellations made less than sixty (60) days from the arrival date or for reservations during Christmas and New Years without the purchase of Travel Guard Travel Protection Insurance. If you should have to cancel your reservation, please notify us immediately of any cancellation and if you purchased the Vacation Rental Insurance contact Travel Guard to begin your claim. For questions concerning the travel insurance or to make a claim due to a cancellation, please call Travel Guard directly at 800-826-4919. The insurance premium is non-refundable and non-transferable. No refunds will be provided in the event of a mandatory evacuation or loss of service due to force majore if the guest does not purchase Travel Guard Travel Insurance.
Check-In, Check-Out Time
Check-In is 3:00 P.M. or later. Check-Out time is promptly 11:00 A.M. Your concierge will be waiting for you at your unit upon your arrival.
Late Arrivals: For guests arriving after hours, arrangements will be made with your reservation agent for a lockbox to be put on the door of your unit.
Luxury Villa Collections cannot predict construction plans in the area and therefore cannot be held responsible for any inconvenience. No refunds can be given in the event of nearby construction.
Golf carts, where provided or rented, are not permitted on public streets or roads. The operator must be sixteen (16) years of age or older, and have a valid driver's license. If anyone is operating a golf cart under age, or without a license, the guest will lose the golf cart privileges. Luxury Villa Collections and/or Property Owner will not be held liable for any injuries, deaths, or damages caused by the golf cart. The Luxury Villa Collections guest will be responsible for any and all damages that may occur while in their use.
Green Friendly Company
At Luxury Villa Collections we are strongly committed to preserving our planet and conserving energy, which is why we ask all of our guests to please abide by a few simple requests:
Energy Conservation - Do not leave any lights or appliances on in vacant room.
Air Conditioning - Please turn off the air conditioning when windows or doors are open and when you are not in the unit.
Most of Luxury Villa Collections homes include complimentary housekeeping daily, with the exception of Mexican holidays. Linens and towels are changed mid-week, not daily. Extra cleaning is available for an additional charge.
Neighborhood Rules / HOA
Most homes reside in residential neighborhoods controlled by a Home Owner Association. These associations have very strict rules that must be respected. Please contact a Luxury Villa Collections representative to ensure compliance, as most violations warrant a fine that the guest will be responsible for paying. Please do not place any towels or clothing on the terrace ralings to dry.
The guest (s) will hold Luxury Villa Collections harmless from any injuries or activities incurred during your stay. Guest (s) are encouraged to act responsibly and courteous during their stay.
Lost and Found
Items left at a property will be returned only upon request and at the guest's expense. Luxury Villa Collections is not liable for lost items. Luxury Villa Collections will only hold items for fourteen (14) days before they are discarded.
Minimum Night Stay
All rates are based on a three (3) night minimum for advanced bookings. Reservations can be made for less than three (3) nights; however, this is subject to each property and availability. Please contact reservations with your exact dates.
Method of Payment
When making reservations thirty (30) days or more in advance, method of payment is by credit card (American Express, Master Card or Visa) for the reservation deposit. Remember that your final payment is due thirty (30) days prior to arrival. Accepted forms of payment are in U.S. funds only. For reservations made less than thirty (30) days prior to arrival, immediate payment in full is required by credit card (Visa, Master Card or American Express).
Please be respectful to your neighbors when you are outside the home. Most communities have a noise ordinance which goes into effect every evening at 10:00 pm. If you are outside, please keep the noise levels to a minimum. Please keep children from running or jumping off furniture in the condominium complexes.
Owner's Closet and Garages
Most properties have interior locked closets that are off-limits to guests. Also, garages are considered "owner storage" and are off limits to the guest as well. Violation of this policy will result in additional charges under the Property Damage agreement.
Parking is limited. Parking in or blocking streets is not permitted. Parking in surrounding yards or blocking driveways is also not permitted. Any cars in violation will be towed at the guest's expense. Please ask about additional parking with your concierge upon check-in.
Diving or jumping into the pool or Jacuzzi may result in head, neck, or spinal injuries. As the renter, you accept the risk of the pool and specifically agree that no minor will swim in the pool unaccompanied by an adult. Pools are heated seasonally. Community or condominium pools are not controlled or maintained by Luxury Villa Collections and therefore cannot be held responsible for inconveniences resulting from the pool.
In order to provide our guests with the best vacation possible, we ask that all damages to the property upon arrival are reported to Luxury Villa Collections within twenty-four (24) hours of check in. An active credit card is required to maintain the reservation and the integrity of the unit. By signing this agreement you waive your right to dispute any charges that are made to your credit card regarding this policy. Non-billing stipulations include: No damage to the property or theft.
No violations of rental or association policies.
Rental is left in a neat and orderly condition.
Luxury Villa Collections will do everything in its means to notify you of impending charges; however, Luxury Villa Collections reserves the right to bill the credit card for violations to the policy.
Guest can also purchase a Security Deposit Damage waiver to cover damages to the unit.
Weddings and special events are not permitted at most properties; however please contact a Luxury Villa Collections agent for available properties. An additional deposit may be required based upon the event and property.
Federal and Municipal Taxes
Mexican Value Added Tax (IVA) is eleven percent (16%), Los Cabos municipal occupancy tax is three percent (3%), for a total tax of 19% (subject to change by federal, state or local government) which is added to all rentals of one hundred eighty (180) days or less. Guests are responsible for paying all applicable taxes in full prior to checking in. Taxes will be disbursed to the governing authority upon check-out and are subject to change without notice.
Trip Cancellation / Interruption Insurance - Travel Guard Insurance
Luxury Villa Collections offers Travel Guard travel cancellation / interruption insurance to every guest. Travel Guard insurance is optional but is strongly recommended. Please note that pre-existing health conditions may not be covered. No refunds will be made in the event of a mandatory evacuation or loss of services due to force majore if guest does not purchase Travel Guard travel insurance. For questions concerning the travel insurance, please call Travel Guard directly at 1-877-249-5376. The insurance premium is non-refundable and non-transferable.
Any use of the dwelling other than residential use during a family vacation must be approved by an Luxury Villa Collections agent. If the dwelling is to be used for any event such as weddings, receptions, "parties" or large gatherings, the guest agrees to submit a request for approval to the agent and adhere to the agent's determination on that request. If the agent approves the event, the guest may be required to pay an additional deposit. If the guest misrepresents an event to the agent (said misrepresentation to be determined by the agent), the guest agrees that the agent may refuse occupancy or have the dwelling vacated and that the guest will not be entitled to a refund. Equipment occasionally malfunctions and cannot be guaranteed one hundred percent (100%) of the time. A Luxury Villa Collections agent will correct the problems as soon as possible. An authorized employee or repairman may enter the premises to repair such equipment. Refunds will not be issued due to malfunctioning equipment, including Internet access. This includes any closed amenity such as pools, hot tubs, tennis courts, weight rooms, etc.
